Welshpool Town Academy runs on Thurday evenings at The Flash Leisure Centre in Welshpool from 6.30pm onwards.

There are sessions for all abilities and ages and all players follow a structured programme that looks at all aspects of the game from passing, control, heading, dribbling and shooting.

Throughout the season, there are several fixtures against other local academies. Matches take place during the week and at the weekend either on grass or AstroTurf.


All players attached to Weshpool Town Academy also gain free entrance to All first team home matches.

There are several coaches involved with the Academy with Bernie Jones over seeing the running of it. Jamie Loxam is working close with Bernie on the coaching side whilst first team player Jonathan Jones is assisting on Thursday evenings.
